In order to keep organisation, we intend on doing everything over this website...no 5 hours of phone calling the day before a game. Everything will be posted here on this website, our old websites are not going to be used again.
We are currently looking for good locations to have our games but for now we are using a few backyards in windimere and a community park here in Clermont (with permission). We are looking at some other locations right now that are absolutely great, including a 10 acre property in Windemere and a 12 acre property here in Clermont.
Games will be organised as so:
We will have a ONCE A MONTH huge game in which we will collect as many members as possible and have a game on the biggest property possible. These games will start either in October or November, most likely November due to the fact that we want to have over 100 members on the site before we do that.
We will have two games a month of decent size, most likely being between a 12v12 to a 20 v 20. Because of our lack of members since we are new, we will only have one of these games in September, and possibly in October too, but by November we should have enough members to have more games.
On refs:
Once game sizes reach 12v12 we will start recruiting refs either from the local area or from the team itself. The person wanting to be a ref will have to undergo a small training on how not to give off possitions but still not get shot. Refs will be given an orange vest during the game, I will post a topic on refs specificaly later.
On Fees:
Every player will be required to pay a $5 fee every TWO games. This is for the refs and for our team as a whole to be able to afford a turret or materials for building our projects. $5 isnt asking a lot considering it gets you access to that property that day and the ability to play airsoft with other people. Not paying your fees will result in you NOT playing!
Small Games:
There are several things that I want to cover with small games...
#1: If a small game or skirmish is being hosted within our team/league an officer/leader DOES have to be present.
#2: Small games will occur at various times throughout the months and will be hosted usually in fields that we dont play on often like several backyards put together or a small private property. In this case please have permission from owners of the land before playing on it.
#3: In medium and small games/skirmishes, not everyone will be invited. In important games such as vs another team, only the best players and officers will be abl to play. In small games whoever is invited that can pay the fee of $5 will be allowed to participate though small games should have less then 20 players.
Competitions:
We do intend on holding competitions here in which awards like free pistols and ammunition will be given to the winner, we will hopefully have one competition a month starting in November.
On Officers and Rank:
There is already a post up for rankup oportunities on the site but there will also be a topic up for rank up rules in games. But the basic over view is that the most mature players that pay their fees and participate often and usually do good will be ranked up. Demotion will accur for breaking rules or acting immature.
I will have a more indepth topic on most of these factors later, but this is the basic over view of our policies...One more thing, before your first game you will be required to fill out and sign a quick form.
